ABOUT
The goal of this course is to provide you with the information you need to complete an art portfolio. At the end of the course, you will have a good understanding of what should be included in your portfolio and you will have the bones of both a physical and a digital portfolio to build up from. Learn how to create a portfolio for your specific need (college entry, residency application, job interview, etc.). There is a first free session where we discuss your specific needs. Niamh will then do any necessary research and will work to tailor the course to your specific needs. The course will then be uploaded in ten stages with a 1 to 1 video session with Niamh at each stage. We will arrange each video session ahead of time using Zoom. At the end of each stage you are challenged to follow through with a brief or briefs (which you will need to send to Niamh at least 24hrs prior to your next video session), and at the start of the following stage you will receive feedback. You cannot go to the next stage without doing the brief of the previous one. Between stages, you can email Niamh with any questions you may have. Each stage involves an online session, notes, a brief and feedback. This is a self-paced course where you choose when to submit your briefs for feedback - you will see the timing of the sessions in weeks, this is just a suggestion. You must contact Niamh in advance to book each online session. (If you need a fast-paced course for a specific deadline, all sessions need to be booked in advance). Please note: as part of this course involves tailoring the course to you specifically, the payment is up front and non-refundable. To get the most out of this course, you must follow through with all stages.
